All of the visuals used in this piece come from a manipulation of twelve pictures that I found on the net or scanned in. I used Eadweard Muybridge's bird photographs (which I scanned) to make my animation for the flying bird. |
The assignment was to make a project based on "Pennelope." I hated Joyce's rambling story but I think the visuals came out striking. The text consists of quotes from "Pennelope." The man is made from a series of Eadweard Muybridge photographs, along with the similar cycle of a woman walking. The rest are photographs that a friend took of me which I manipulated heavily in photoshop. |
