A red goodbye

Before *abandoning me* for some guy in Arizona, surprised me with some henna hair dye... which was very sweet of her ;)

I've been talking about wanting to dye my hair red since I was a kid. Didn't do it then because mom wouldn't let me. In high school I cut it really short once, shaved up the back, and it looked so awful growing back out that I've been very hesitant to do anything seriously damaging to it since ;) Plus, I'm lazy, and I've seen how much work most strippers put into their hair: I really cringe at the thought of having to deal with "roots" ;)

When talking about hair dying with tigresa she told me about this henna stuff, and it sounded perfect for my needs: washes out in a month or two but doesn't get all over everything, and natural, so it doesn't give me any more things to be paranoid about with pregnancy ;)

Unfortunately it was a huge pain in the ass to do, even with doing most of the work, and it didn't come out totally even, although not bad either, especially since neither of us had any experience ;) Depending on how expensive it would be and all that, I'm contemplating on the posibility of having a "red phase" and getting my hair professionally done. But I do still want to stick to techniques that are super safe for my fetus and my hair, and I have my doubts that professional places would be willing to deal with henna ;)

I really liked the color of my hair last night, although it continued changing overnight, and today its *really* red ;) thalassan's hair on the other hand didn't seem to change at all, despite that she left her color in super long as well, although its possible that hers changed overnight too.

Belly and after ;)
