Did some sketching today, its been a while:

Design inspiration from this Amy Brown print:

I've been thinking for a while that I would like to "add to that print" by painting a scene in that theme on my walls, stemming out from the picture. Given that I'm likely to move soon, among other reasons, I have not felt it worth the effort of attempting at this point, but sketching on more portable surfaces than the wall seemed reasonable ;) As it turned out, I ended up taking it a very different direction: my fairy today wanted to be silly and tipsy rather than serious and elegant ;)

As with so many other activities, working on arts and crafts is somehow much more fun when done in company of friends :)
